Andreas Kunz is the Chief Technology Officer for INNIO. Andreas oversees the entire Technology function for the INNIO Group. His responsibilities include all areas across product development, research & development (New Technology Introduction and New Product Introduction) and order engineering for the delivery of customer-specified products. With 20 years of experience in engineering and operations-related roles, Andreas brings significant technical expertise in the international reciprocating engines industry as well as extensive knowledge of international end customers in the power generation segment. Andreas joined INNIO from Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG in Friedrichshafen, Germany, where he spent most of his career and until recently held the position of vice president (VP) Engineering for all engine platforms. His previous roles included VP Manufacturing and VP Operations Onsite Energy as well as managing director at MTU Onsite Energy in Augsburg, Germany. Andreas has a doctorate in mechanical and combustion engineering from the University of Duisburg. In addition, he has engineering degrees from the University of Duisburg and the University of Wales.
