Cheng Zhan received a B.S. in mathematics from Sun Yat-sen University, and a Ph.D. in mathematics from University of Houston. He began his career at CGG as a seismic imager, later joined TGS as a processing geophysicist. Currently he is working as a senior data scientist in Anadarko Petroleum.
