As Head of Technology, Innovation and Sustainability at business unit UHDE of
thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG, Dr. Ralph Kleinschmidt is since more than
5 years responsible for technology, intellectual property and research and
development related activities in the fertilizer, chemical, petrochemical and
polymer business of business unit UHDE. After studying chemistry at the
University of Düsseldorf, Dr. Ralph Kleinschmidt, did his diploma and thereafter
his Ph. D. at the Max-Planck Institute for Coal Research located in Mülheim an
der Ruhr, in the field of polymer chemistry and engineering.
