Following 25 years’ experience in the Energy and Utilities industry Ed is responsible for asset management at Peak Cluster which is bringing together the UK’s leading producers to decarbonise 40% of the UK’s cement and lime production using carbon capture and storage technology.

A Chartered Electrical and Gas Engineer, Ed holds an MEng from Oxford University and an MBA from Imperial College. After an early career in Air Traffic Control engineering Ed joined the energy sector in 2001 working on the separation and sale of distribution gas networks. Ed was UK Health and Safety Director for National Grid, before moving to National Grid Gas Distribution, now Cadent Gas, as Operations Director and later Network Strategy Director.
