After concluding her studies in the US and the UK, Felicia Mester went on to specialise in regulation and public affairs in the energy sector. She kicked off her career in the non-banking financial regulator of Moldova working on the MD-EU Association Agenda. She then entered the energy realm via a first role in the photovoltaic sector where she worked on renewable energy policy files and communication strategy. Following this, she joined Eurogas – a Brussels based association representing the gas wholesale, retail and distribution companies where she was in charge of the wholesale, regulatory and decarbonisation policy files. Felicia continued working on renewable and low carbon gas technologies by joining Hydrogen Europe – the association bringing together the entire hydrogen value chain – first as senior policy advisor and later as Public Affairs Director. In this role, she led the Energy and Infrastructure team and worked closely with the CEO on strategic advocacy.

In November 2022, Felicia joined OCI as Head of EU Affairs / Senior Lead Government and Public Affairs in Brussels to support OCI’s global Government & Public affairs team. She will focus on the Fertilizers and Gas dossiers of the EU, and key European Commercial Markets, including the UK. Felicia will build and expand OCI’s network with key external stakeholders to drive key EU policy initiatives.
