Gavin is Chief Executive Officer of Veri Energy and brings over 30 years of global investment experience spanning public and private markets. Veri Energy is focused on delivering a practical and just energy transition by repurposing existing energy infrastructure for large‑scale decarbonisation, including carbon capture, electrification, and e‑fuels. Its flagship development at the Sullom Voe Terminal in Shetland aims to establish the site as a strategically important net‑zero energy hub for the UK.

Earlier in his career, Gavin held senior investment and advisory roles in climate and infrastructure finance, including leadership positions at the Green Investment Group and a formative role in establishing the UK Green Investment Bank. He also served as Managing Director at Pollination, advising investors and governments on climate finance. Gavin chaired the infrastructure working group of Scotland’s First Minister’s Investor Panel, advising on the mobilisation of global capital into net‑zero infrastructure.
