Grahame joined the public affairs consultancy JBP Associates in 2022, having previously worked as a political advisor and campaign lead for a major political party in New Zealand. His career to date has included playing a critical role in the creation of the 2020 National Party Energy and Resources policy and leading a successful by-election campaign against a sitting cabinet minister.
In his role at JBP, Grahame is responsible for leading the government relations activities of numerous accounts and has helped support clients in advocating for complex regulatory changes and access to government funding.
Grahame is also a regular commentator on the energy sector and the political challenges it faces. Several of his pieces have been published in a leading policy journal, including an analysis of how the government can best support the hydrogen revolution to enhance the UK’s rail sector. Grahame is passionate about supporting the energy and transportation industries in having their voices heard throughout Westminster and Whitehall, and he regularly provides organisations with advice on how best to engage.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy from Victoria University of Wellington and is an Associate of Trinity College London in Communication Skills.
