Jeremy joined the National Energy System Operator (NESO) in November 2024, to lead the development of NESO’s positions on critical gas and hydrogen policy and delivery questions to support NESO's role as a valued strategic partner to government, Ofgem and industry. Jeremy joined NESO from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, where he led the Hydrogen Networks and Markets team and contributed to the UK government’s Hydrogen Strategy in 2021, as well as the first Hydrogen Transport and Storage Networks Pathway in 2023. Prior to this he held various roles in government, Ofgem and consultancy.
