With an MBA from Oxford University, Marcos is a Chemical Engineer and dedicated senior leader with a long career in the oil refining and petrochemical industry. Working in both South America and Europe, Marcos has held a variety of senior roles within Manufacturing, Projects, Technology and is passionate about industrial decarbonisation of the downstream sector. Currently, he is responsible for EET Fuels’ decarbonisation strategy, where he is developing and implementing low carbon transition projects to create one of the largest energy transition hubs in Europe. Marcos is also chairman of the Hydrogen and CCUS Advocacy Committee within Fuels Industry UK, which aims to ensure the transformation of the Oil Downstream Sector as a key enabler to deliver a net zero United Kingdom.
