Marian is a member of the Chartered Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and has an MSc in environmental management. 

She has over 10 years’ senior management experience in mineral extractives as well as significant experience in developing and delivering major projects within Network Rail. 

In 2016 Marian was promoted to Heidelberg Materials UK’s senior executive team where she provides strategic advice in relation to sustainability, corporate governance and the leadership required to ensure the business achieves its 2030 sustainability commitments. 

In addition to advocating the implementation Heidelberg Materials UK’s health and wellness strategy, she is also helping to drive its path towards cement carbon neutrality, fuel switching, hydrogen use and carbon capture and storage (CCS).
