Martin represents the company in many international and European industry forums.  Since joining the company in 2006, he has been the company’s lead person in European Public Affairs, and has held various other roles including Communications, Corporate Responsibility and Social Impact. He started his career as an academic at the University of London specializing in political history, and subsequently held several posts in politics and public affairs before joining the construction materials sector. He holds a BA (Hons) in History and Politics and an MA in Modern British Politics.
