Matthias Schlegel holds a degree in technology management, specializing in power plant technology with management of energy and finances. He has accumulated extensive experience in hydrogen technology, among others by managing major projects for the German Aerospace Center, planning ‘power-to-X’ plants, conceptual engineering and evaluation of business models for a hydrogen-based energy storage in the natural gas industry and conceptual engineering, demand concepts and evaluation of potential business models for hydrogen production and mobility infrastructure for a German utility. In addition, Mr. Schlegel has wide-ranging experience in energy sector assignments, such as developing and evaluating business models for hydrogen applications – which is of particular relevance to the development of business models.
