Meg J. C. Lin, Ph.D

Dr. Lin currently serves as the Deputy Director at the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research, and is also the CEO of the Taiwan Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Partnership, Honorary Advisor of Taiwan Legislative Association for Hydrogen and Clean Energies, Policy Research Group Convener of the Taiwan Energy Storage System Industry Promotion Alliance. For the hydrogen industry promotion and international cooperation, she was co-working with University of St. Andrews and as a research fellow and visiting scholar in UK. Additionally, she leads Taiwan Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Partnership to cooperate with international Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association.

Dr. Lin specializes in researching the latest trends in net-zero initiatives both domestically and internationally. She has practical experience assisting in the formulation of government and corporate policies. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to the development of various net-zero related fields in Taiwan, including hydrogen and fuel cells, energy storage, smart cities, and electric vehicles. Leveraging her accumulated expertise over the 12 years, she has contributed to collaboration between industry, government, academia, and research organizations both domestically and internationally. She provides valuable insights for government policy-making and translates research findings into practical net-zero sustainability initiatives at the local level. Additionally, she is actively engaged in public outreach and corporate advocacy efforts, all with the aim of making a significant contribution to achieving net-zero emissions in the future.
