Niall Rowantree is the Digital & Data Manager for Total E&P UK (TEPUK), an affiliate of the Total Group.  Following its recent acquisition of Maersk Oil, Total is the largest hydrocarbon producer in the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS), with nearly 200,000 barrels of oil equivalent production per day.  Niall is responsible for the creation of the company’s data analytics function including the cloud-based architecture, team, processes and change management strategy.  This incorporates Business Intelligence for general analytics and Data Science for more advanced, machine learning applications.  Niall’s other roles at Total have been in its Commercial, M&A function.  Prior to joining Total, Niall was a Senior Analyst with the Energy Research and Consulting firm Wood Mackenzie.  He has always been a proud geek and data lover.

Niall has a BSc hons degree in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow.
