Being in the front row of developing carbon-capture and storage (CCS) in Europe, Rasmus Holmer has focused on business development and commercialization of CO2 storages binding the value chain from CO2 emitters to permanent geological storage together. First, by being part of Horisont Energi, a Norwegian start-up company developing CO2 storage and carbon neutral ammonia production, and from mid-2023 being part of Wintershall Dea Carbon Management & Hydrogen division.

Rasmus Holmer has solid experience with business and strategy development across international engineering organizations mainly in Denmark and Norway. Working both in the upstream oil and gas businesses as well in the environmental sector, both in private and public organizations.
