Dr. Sakura Nishioka plans and executes JOGMEC’s strategy accounting for CCS promotion and deployment along with the analysis of global CCS trends and relevant macro conditions including regulations, carbon market, and climate policy. She is a lead author of Handbook for CCS Carbon Credits (published in March 2023). In addition, she has been in charge of global coordination with various related parties and initiatives. Since September 2023, she’s been appointed as an assistant general manager and a head of energy of JOGMEC London office.
