Sikander Mahmood is an Incorporated Mechanical Engineer who joined Cadent to support the UK’s transition to Net Zero. He began his career in operational roles, including frontline emergency response and pipeline maintenance. Sikander has spent the majority of his career in the Future Networks team, where he now sets strategic direction as Programme Manager for Blending. Having led Cadent’s flagship HyDeploy project—delivering the technical evidence base for hydrogen integration into gas distribution—he is now focused on ensuring networks are ready to accept hydrogen in the coming years.
