Simon has 15 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector, initially as an engineer working on downstream EPC projects, and then later as a conceptual engineer doing upstream oil and gas projects. More recently he has focused on CCUS projects, ranging from EOR and ERG projects to blue hydrogen and retrofitting carbon capture to heat and power facilities and is now the Genesis subject matter expert on CO₂ and part of the team working to build the energy transitions business at Genesis.  Simon’s recent roles have include, technical lead, advisor, SME and project manager. Simon has a MEng in Chemical Engineering.
