Stacey is a partner in Pinsent Masons’ Energy Transition team and a leading legal figure in the low-carbon hydrogen & CCUS sectors. He has market-leading knowledge, experience, and connections in these rapidly developing markets, which he has been involved with for over a decade. 

Stacey’s team is engaged on more LCH & CCUS projects in the UK than any other law-firm. They are advising on projects in CCUS Track-1, Track-1 expansion and Track-2, as well as on Hydrogen Allocation Round 1 & 2 projects. Such projects cover the power, industrial (including waste), greenhouse gas removals and transportation space. As a result, he has a deep understanding of evolving market practice in this space, the challenges faced and how they can be solved. 

Stacey was recently selected as one of the first Green Ambassadors by the Legal 500 directory. He has been highlighted as a one of the few Thought Leaders: Global Elite in Lexology’s (previously Who's Who Legal) Global directory, as a result of his leadership in the development of the CCUS & LCH sectors.
