Dr. ir. Wim Van der Stricht graduated with a PhD in physics engineering from the University of Gent and has joined Sidmar, currently ArcelorMittal, in 2000. After positions in operations research, IT and Finance, he has been responsible for CO₂ and Circular Economy topics in the Corporate CTO-team since 2013. Currently he is involved in developing the ArcelorMittal roadmap to carbon neutrality and is coordinator of several innovative projects, including CCU pilots and demonstrators (Steelanol)
