AXIS is an independent Planning and Environmental Consultancy specialising in infrastructure/energy projects including EfW; renewables; oil and gas; and projects providing grid stabilisation services.  Increasingly AXIS has become involved in innovation projects to address the need to decarbonise, including hydrogen projects and CCSU (including securing consent for Britain’s largest carbon-capture project). AXIS also has experience of projects which address the associated distribution of energy, including pipelines, powerlines, district heating networks and energy storage technologies. The AXIS team has a thorough understanding of the planning process and consenting for major infrastructure (NSIP/DNS) and has carried out EIA for many complex projects.
