Andy is a Director of the Regulators' Alliance for Progressing Infrastructure Development (RAPID) and is now in his 35th year of a career in water management. His work in RAPID helps to shape a programme of water company major infrastructure projects to deliver improved resilience in water supplies and a better environment.

Andy's experience has predominantly been with the Environment Agency on water resources, where he co-led the development of the National Framework for Water Resources which (published in 2025). He has worked on developing strategy, policy and legislation for water resources planning and abstraction licensing, and has experience of drought management.

He is passionate about improving water resources management and is delighted to be supporting this event.
