Barry is the Commercial Director at DNV GL for the Veracity open data platform. With a BSc in Computing & Management from Loughborough University, Barry has spent 16 years in the oil and gas industry in a variety of software and business development roles. Most recently he’s been supporting the growth of one of the largest key accounts in the DNV GL group across the UK & US, covering engineering consultancy, innovation and software in gas transmission & distribution, LNG, metering and electricity transmission & distribution. Barry is passionate about the role of data sharing and analytics as key drivers for innovation in the energy sector.
