Mr. Boyang Jin has over 15 years of experience in energy transition, new‑energy investment and carbon markets. He currently serves as Chair of the Carbon Market Working Group at the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC), and Director of Government Affairs and Strategic Development at The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas).

Prior to joining Towngas, Mr. Jin headed the APAC Carbon Research Team at Refinitiv (part of the London Stock Exchange Group). He conducted extensive research covering carbon markets and energy transition policies, medium- and long-term carbon price forecasting, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and corporate ESG. He delivered insights and data visualization to support carbon‑market participants including financial institutions and commodity traders.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Jin worked at State Power Investment Corporation of China, where he was responsible for the investment and development of overseas new‑energy projects. He led green-field developments and M&A transactions across new‑energy markets in Australia, Brazil and the United Kingdom.
