Caroline Rossi is the Head of Business Development and Orchestration for Eni’s CCS merchant business, overseeing strategic initiatives across the L10 CCS hub and Bacton CCS. She leads an international team focused on origination and commercial development.

Caroline holds a dual MSc in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and Ensiacet Toulouse. Her career spans France, the USA, the UK, and the Netherlands, where she held diverse operational and commercial leadership roles at ExxonMobil across CCS, chemicals, power, and gas sectors.

In 2021, Caroline joined Neptune Energy—acquired by Eni in 2024—as Head of Commercial & Origination. She played a pivotal role in shaping Neptune’s global New Energy portfolio, including the L10 CCS hub, the H2opZee green hydrogen initiative in the Netherlands, and the Trudvang CCS project in Norway.
