Caterina De Matteis is a Senior Policy Manager at IOGP Europe, where she leads advocacy on carbon capture and storage (CCS) and oversees the energy and climate pillar of the policy team. She brings over 10 years of experience in EU energy policy, with a core focus on CCS and hydrogen. Caterina previously served as Co-Chair of the European Commission’s CCUS Forum Working Group on CO₂ infrastructure. She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs from the University of Bologna, specialized in EU affairs.
