In his current  role as the Head of Net Zero, Chris leads the Tees Valley’s work on industrial decarbonisation and supports the development of low carbon projects of all kinds across the Authority’s region. He heads up  the Combined Authorities  work around  Industrial Clusters and  is the Chair of the North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Hub. Trained as a mechanical engineer he has had a varied career in industry, software, communications, and policy.
