David Lamb is Industrial Growth Strategy Manager at United Utilities, where he leads work on how water and wastewater infrastructure can support major industrial growth across the North West.

David’s work focuses on the water needs of emerging and high-growth sectors, including data centres, hydrogen, clean energy, sustainable aviation fuel and advanced manufacturing. He works across strategic planning, developer engagement, water resources, wastewater strategy and regulatory alignment, with a particular focus on sustainable supply and discharge solutions that protect existing customers and the environment while enabling economic growth.

He is passionate about ensuring water infrastructure is considered early alongside power, planning, transport and wider economic development, so that industrial growth can be delivered in a resilient, sustainable and coordinated way.
