He has contributed to leading CCS projects including Northern Lights (Norway), Aramis and Porthos (Netherlands), Endurance (UK), Gorgon (Australia), Prinos (Greece), Lang Lebah (Malaysia), Arthit (Thailand), and Dong Hae (South Korea). This global exposure across different regulatory and commercial frameworks gives him a clear, practical understanding of what drives successful CCS projects.

He specialises in translating CO₂ storage regulations into actionable operational plans.

Through his consulting firm, Diego works with major service companies such as Halliburton and SLB, and serves as an Advisory Board Member for a New York–listed startup focused on reducing CC(U)S costs.
