Simon is responsible for the development, engineering and execution of Alfanar Projects' Lighthouse Green Fuels (LGF) SAF plant in Teesside. Simon oversees the design, implementation and optimisation of cutting-edge SAF production processes within the LGF project. He has led the technical aspects of the project since its inception. 

Before joining Alfanar, Simon’s background was in biorefinery projects, with experience in developing gasification technologies and waste- and biomass-to-X processes. He also contributed to several EPC projects within the UK's Energy from Waste sector.

A passionate advocate for decarbonisation and clean energy, Simon is actively involved in industry collaborations and policy discussions shaping the future of sustainable aviation.
