Dr. Yunji Xu is the General Manager Hydrogen Industry for Shell, responsible for developing
hydrogen industry business globally.

She has held a number of technical, commercial and leadership roles in various geographic
locations. She joined Shell Global Solutions in 2008 as a technical consultant and worked on
projects in Europe and Middle East to increase refinery margins through fit-for-purpose process
improvements before moving to the gas and LNG industry.

Dr. Xu had more than a decade of experience in LNG value chain, spanning from joint venture
governance in Qatar to LNG marketing and trading in Asia Pacific, before starting her current
role as General Manager Hydrogen Industry in Feb 2021.

Dr. Yunji Xu graduated from The University of Manchester in the UK with a doctorate in Chemical
Engineering
