Jan Caldeira Riechers is an experienced commercial professional with almost 20 years in the energy sector, focusing on hydrogen and natural gas markets in Europe and Brazil. He currently works as a Business Developer Hydrogen at GASCADE in Germany, with previous senior and leadership roles at BP, Gasunie, SEFE Energy and NTS in Brazil. His expertise includes all midstream related activities of natural gas and hydrogen, including business development, contract negotiation, regulatory affairs, and gas/hydrogen transport systems. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from TU Berlin, studied abroad in Canada, worked abroad in Brazil, and is fluent in German, English, and Portuguese. His diverse background also includes project management and international collaboration.
