Jordan Tassell is a seasoned leader in the maritime industry, with over a decade of experience in providing technical engineering solutions, across the energy and maritime sectors. As Head of Marine & Ports at iconsys, Jordan is dedicated to driving growth and innovation, helping clients overcome the complex challenges of legacy systems and the implementation of advanced technologies for new build systems. Jordan has also been heavily involved in several energy transition projects, most recently delivering the first UK-built smart shore power system. Jordan’s expertise lies in power, control, automation, and mechatronic solutions, which he leverages to enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and reliability of maritime and port operations, in an era of decarbonisation. His ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions has positioned him as a trusted partner in the industry. Before joining iconsys, Jordan spent eight years with Global technology company ABB, where he gained valuable experience in their Energy Industries and Marine & Ports divisions. This combined experience gives him a strong understanding of the sectors evolving needs and the significant role of technology in enhancing operations.
