Julian has worked for National Grid for the past 25 years. Through this time he has performed many roles, mainly in the System Operator function both here in GB and in the National Grid US business. In his current role, Julian is responsible across GB for the current and future transmission connections, defining the future system capability needs, performing the economic cost benefit analysis for timely investments and ensuring that the future and current network design is secure and operable.
