Katie is currently leading the low carbon and circular economy agenda at the York, North Yorkshire & East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership. Working closely with stakeholders, Katie’s taking a strategic approach to identify and realise opportunities to move towards a low carbon and circular future. Previous experience includes leading the ambitious circular economy programme in Peterborough, which aspires to create the UK’s first circular city. Successes include launching a city-wide sharing economy platform, co-designing high impact collaborative projects and developing a pioneering Circular City Roadmap. With an academic background in sustainability and business, Katie is passionate about driving the sustainability agenda forward and making a real impact.
