Kim is Costain’s Smart Cities Leader, helping customers across the UK understand the smart cities agenda and create solutions to address key issues such as decarbonisation, alternative energy and mobility services. She develops strategies to help authorities realise significant benefits from Smart Cities principles, both within a city and regional setting, by deploying interconnected systems and capturing, analysing and visualising data across complex infrastructure networks to make better informed decisions. Kim has project managed strategic innovation roll-outs in the transport and energy industries, focusing on multi-vector systems, and is currently bringing an industry perspective to partnerships with Universities and Smart City Programmes across the UK. She is currently working on projects focusing on Electric Vehicles, Hydrogen and Smart Regions.
