Dr. Krittamuk is a prominent physician, environmental policymaker, and Advisor to the
Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Thailand. Blending medical expertise with
environmental governance, he views climate change through the critical lens of public
health. Dr. Krittamuk completed his advanced professional training in the Principles and
Practice of Clinical Research (PPCR) , Harvard University, equipping him with rigorous
methodologies that he currently applies to pioneering research on the direct impacts of
climate change on human health.
As a key architect of Thailand’s carbon management policies, Dr. Krittamuk has successfully
steered national climate initiatives and green pilot projects. Recognizing that decarbonization
is the ultimate preventive medicine for the planet, he acts as a strategic bridge between
climate science and industrial execution. At this year's Summit, he connects his extensive
background in health risk assessment and policy design to the strategic necessity of Carbon
Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS). Dr. Krittamuk champions CCUS not merely as a
technical solution, but as an indispensable, life-saving public health intervention required to
safeguard communities and achieve Thailand's Net-Zero commitments.
