Liam is Subsea7's Strategy Director for Energy Transition. A mechanical engineer by trade, Liam is responsible for developing, driving and coordinating the wide spectrum of energy transition activities across Subsea7's business streams, which includes Seaway 7, Xodus and 4Subsea.  Liam’s goal is to support Europe to realise its net zero ambitions. By collaborating with industry partners big challenges can be solved, which will transform the energy system and implement low-carbon integrated energy solutions.   

An alumni of London Business School, Liam joined Subsea7 in 2008 and has held a number of engineering, project management and business development positions, before becoming a member of the UK & Global IRM senior leadership team in 2020. He is an advocate for cross-industry collaborative contracting partnerships, as a powerful tool for creating value that would not be possible through separate entities. He currently sits on the NZTC Industry Advisory Panel, the RenewableUK Floating Wind Task Force and the Scottish Renewables Energy Transition Strategy Sub-Group.
