In her current role at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, Nelam leads on the development of the commercial framework for support for Non-Pipeline Transport (NPT) CCUS projects. This includes the development of support relating to NPT costs, cross chain risks, and economic regulation. Nelam has previously worked at HM Treasury on industrial decarbonisation spending, financial services, and technology policy.
