Joe Howe is the Humber Zero Professor of Industrial Decarbonisation at the University of Lincoln. Howe has undertaken extensive research and innovation in sustainable water management, industrial defossilisation and energy security. Currently he holds several external relevant external roles including: Chair of the Humber Industrial Decarbonisation Network (on behalf of CATCH); Chair of GB Chemicals Strategic Advisory Board; Trustee and Non-Exec Board Member of the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board; Chair of Mission Innovation Hydrogen Production; Member of the National Energy System Operator Gas Advisory Council.
