Project Manager for the INOVYN salt cavern Hydrogen Storage Facility in support of the HyNet North West Project.

Richard has more than 20 years’ experience in salt cavern storage projects, part of 35 years’ in the chemical industry, including the large scale electrolysis of brine for chlor-alkali and hydrogen production.

INOVYN have been manufacturing hydrogen for over 100 years in the UK. As Europe’s largest electrolysis operator, INOVYN will now bring those skills and knowledge to the growing interest in decarbonisation of energy supply; with green hydrogen production, technology development and grid scale hydrogen storage in salt caverns.
