Shabana is head of investment in hydrogen storage at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, and previously led the commercial design of the subsidy for low carbon hydrogen production (i.e. the low carbon hydrogen agreement). Shabana has over ten years of experience working in central government policy in a range of strategy, finance and policy roles.
