Mr John brings over 30 years of experience in engineering and plant construction for the heavy industry especially in Steel and Cement.  He is currently serving as Regional Director – Business Development  for European market for Carbon Capture business at Mitsubishi Heavy Industry EMEA. He has in the past held position of Vice President – Strategy & Business  Development and Vice President & Head of Direct Reduction Technology and have spoken in number of conferences related to green hydrogen and green steel technologies. He was responsible for advancing low carbon technologies like H2 base DRI in steel making at Primetals Technologies Austria GmbH  and was instrumental in implementation of large scale metallurgical projects worldwide.  His expertise spans business development, strategic planning and delivering large projects. He holds a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration.
