Simon is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Energy, Environment and Infrastructure group.  He is a project finance and commercial energy and infrastructure lawyer with experience of large-scale multi-disciplinary energy & infrastructure transactions.

Simon specialises in assisting developers, project sponsors and equity investors with the transition to clean energy; advising on the acquisition, development and financing of renewable energy and clean tech projects across the UK, Europe and Africa. Simon has a particular focus on the hydrogen sector and has obtained a Galileo Master Certificate in the Hydrogen Economy from the European Energy Centre.

Simon is listed in Legal 500 as a “rising star” in Energy & Natural Resources (Legal 500, 2019 - 2021). Simon is also a member of the firm’s cross-departmental Africa Focus Group.
