Simon Smith joined McDermott in 2002 and currently works as a Study Manager, based in London. He has 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, fourteen of which has been spent in leadership roles.

His experience ranges from feasibility and conceptual design through to FEED, EPC, commissioning and operations, in both onshore and offshore field developments. He has extensive international experience having worked on projects around the world, including Africa, Canada, USA and Australia. Most recently, Simon joined the team working on LNG and green energy projects.

Simon has a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Nottingham and a postgraduate in Engineering Management from the University of Bath.
